The basic steps to configure a RAID agent for an enterprise array:

1. Create new volume to be used as CommandDevice (usually 1Gb)
2. Enable CommandDevice feature on the volume
3. Map it to the RAID agent server
4. Bring the volume online
5. Create a new partition. Do not format it. Do not assign a drive letter or name.
6. Open Administrator Console
7. Run jpctdlistraid.bat. This will list all CMD devices on the server. Copy the GUID (everything in between the quotes...example:\\?\{...})
8. Run jpcinssetup.exe agtd -inst INSTANCE_NAME. When it asks for the command device file name, paste the GUID instead of entering the Physical Drive # (this value can change after a reboot).
